Chao-Yi Chen, PMP, MBAc, is a Senior Engineering Manager at Whirlpool, leading complex engineering projects in refrigeration systems and fostering cross-regional team development. Previously, Chao-Yi served as a Design Engineer II at Hoshizaki America, where they spearheaded innovative NPI projects and managed product improvement initiatives. With a commitment to talent development, Chao-Yi has trained over 50 engineers as a certified Master Black Belt and coached several to Black Belt certification. Chao-Yi holds multiple master's degrees in engineering and is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Michigan.
