Nate Davis

Nate Davis serves as the Legal Director for Patents & Intellectual Property Litigation at Whirlpool Corporation, where responsibilities include leading a global team in patent strategy, acquisition, and portfolio management while partnering with business leaders on intellectual property strategies related to M&A and joint development. Previously, Nate held several roles at Whirlpool, including Legal Director for Regulatory & Litigation, where a comprehensive legal support system for product and manufacturing regulatory compliance was developed, and Legal Counsel positions focused on various aspects of litigation and intellectual property. Prior to joining Whirlpool, Nate was a Partner at HEIM, PAYNE & CHORUSH, L.L.P., litigating patent and trade secret cases, and served as a Judicial Law Clerk at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Nate holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
