Yan Zhang

Yan Zhang is currently a Senior Engineering Manager at Whirlpool Corporation, where they lead the U.S. and Mexico engineering team focused on refrigeration cooling systems. Previously, they held several engineering roles at Whirlpool, leading new product implementation and achieving significant cost reductions. With a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iowa, Yan's dissertation centered on fuel fire safety, and they have also earned an MBA from the University of Michigan. A certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Yan excels in program and project management, product design, and lean methods.
