Rob Mayfield

Rob Mayfield serves as the Managing Director of Libertatis Ergo Holding B.V. since October 2020, focusing on investments in science-based high-impact spinouts within life sciences and health. Concurrently, Rob holds positions as Director of Entrepreneurship and Director of Technology Transfer at Leiden University and Medical Center (LUMC) since February 2017. Additional roles include being a member of the Supervisory Board for In Ovo and Whispp, and the Managing Director and Owner of Hunter Equity Management, providing consulting services in technology commercialization. As a co-founder and Managing Director of AMS Reaction Cladding since February 2010, Rob is involved in advanced materials development. Past experiences also include serving as CEO of Tubefuse, Director of Tendeka, and Investment Principal at Shell Technology Ventures, where Rob led significant investments in various sectors. Rob holds an MBA from INSEAD and a B.Eng in Engineering from The University of Edinburgh.
