Derek Griffin is an experienced professional in acquisitions, currently serving as Head of Acquisitions at Whitbread since September 2005, with various roles including Head of Acquisitions for London, South, East England, and Greater London, as well as Regional Acquisitions Manager. Prior to Whitbread, Derek held the position of Development Manager at Burger King Corporation from 2001 to 2005 and served as Acquisitions Manager at Scottish & Newcastle from 1996 to 2001. Derek's educational background includes a Masters in Land Management from the University of Reading (1987-1989) and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Liverpool (1984-1987). Additional educational experience was obtained at Repton School (1979-1984).
