Iain Gray

Iain Gray has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Iain began their career at L.E.K. Consulting as a Senior Associate Consultant from 2000 to 2004. Iain then joined Lloyds TSB as a Senior Manager, Strategic Ventures from 2004 to 2005. Following this, they worked at Huntswood as an Executive Assistant to the CEO, where they developed the business strategy from 2005 to 2006. Iain then gained experience as an Investment Analyst at 3i Group plc from February 2006 to August 2006. Iain briefly interned as a Business Development Manager at Tesco in 2007. Iain then moved to Bain & Company, where they worked as a Consultant from January 2008 to December 2011, and later as a Manager from December 2011 to December 2012. Most recently, they have held various leadership positions at Whitbread, including Head of Decision Science from October 2018 to present, Head of Revenue Management, Premier Inn from November 2015 to October 2018, Head of Customer Insight & Marketing, Premier Inn from March 2014 to November 2015, and Strategy Manager, Premier Inn from January 2013 to March 2014.

Iain Gray attended Abingdon School from 1991 to 1996. Iain then went on to study Chemistry at the University of Oxford, earning an MChem degree from 1996 to 2000. Later, in 2007, they pursued an MBA with distinction in Finance & Management at INSEAD. Iain also obtained another MChem degree in Chemistry from the University of Oxford, although the specific dates are not provided.
