Eckhard Hellbeck

Eckhard Hellbeck is an international lawyer qualified in the United States and Germany, currently serving as Counsel at White & Case LLP since 1998. Fluent in English, German, and French, Eckhard represents companies and governments in complex international arbitration and litigation, with specialized experience in investment protection, state responsibility, and the enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards. Prior to their current role, Eckhard worked as a Judicial Clerk at the Landgericht Berlin and as a Legal Research Assistant at the International Monetary Fund. They also served as a Diplomat and Legal Adviser at the German Foreign Office from 1988 to 1997. Eckhard earned their legal education at American University, Washington College of Law.
