Miranda Ross has a diverse work experience in the field of security and technology. Miranda is currently working at White Oak Security as a Threat Emulation Specialist since April 2023. Prior to this, they were a Security Researcher (SRT) at Synack Red Team starting from July 2021. Miranda also worked as a Security Researcher at HackerOne from November 2019. Before entering the security field, Miranda was actively involved in social work as a Board Member at Hand of Hope Rapid Rehousing from November 2016 to November 2019 and as a Case Manager at Hand of Hope, Rapid Rehousing from 2016 to 2017. Miranda also has experience as a self-employed Information Technology Web Developer from 2010 to November 2019.

In 2017, Miranda enrolled in Boise State University and pursued a degree in Multidisciplinary Studies with a focus on Business & Communication. Miranda studied there until 2018.

In 2019, they earned a CompTIA A+ ce Certification, CompTIA IT Operations Specialist – CIOS Stackable Certification, CompTIA Secure Infrastructure Specialist – CSIS Stackable Certification, and a CompTIA Network+ ce Certification. Additionally, they achieved an ITIL® 4 Foundation CPD certification that same year.

In 2020, Miranda obtained a CompTIA Security+ ce Certification and an ITIL Foundation Level certification. Miranda also completed a Technical Support Fundamentals course on Coursera.

More recently, in 2021, Miranda obtained several certifications, including CompTIA Project+, Associate of (ISC)², CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), and Security Analytics Professional - CSAP.
