Eric Polk has worked in the design industry since 2004. Eric began their career as a Model Maker Intern at Leisure Design in 2004, where they developed prototypes using a milling, lathe, and CNC machine, and learned to program CNC machines using Virtual Gibbs. In 2006, they returned to Leisure Design as an Industrial Design Intern, developing hand sketching, marker rendering, and photo realistic computer renderings skills, as well as learning to use Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Solidworks. In 2007, they worked as a New Ventures Intern at Leisure Design, further developing their hand sketching, marker rendering, and photo realistic computer renderings skills, making concept prototypes and packaging prototypes, and using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Solidworks. In 2008, they moved to WhiteBoard Product Solutions, where they worked as a Business Development and Design Director, Senior Industrial Designer, Industrial Designer, and New Ventures Designer.
Eric Polk attended Minnetonka Senior High School from 2000 to 2004 and then went on to the University of Wisconsin-Stout from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a degree in Fine Arts with a focus in Industrial Design.
