Thomas Rieks Andersen is currently the Team Lead at Whitecell Systems ApS, specializing in the fabrication of organic solar cells through advanced coating techniques. Previously, they have held significant research positions, including Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Newcastle and Senior Materials Engineer at Advent Technologies A/S. Thomas has contributed to numerous publications and led innovative projects that advanced the field of polymer/organic solar cells. They obtained a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Danmarks Tekniske Universitet and an M.Sc. in Chemistry from Aalborg University.
