John Siu has a diverse range of experience working in quality assurance and software testing roles. John began their career in 2005 at Excell Data as a Software Test Engineer 2, where they were responsible for designing, implementing, executing, and debugging test cases for Microsoft Office services International/Complex Scripts features. John also created and maintained automation test cases using C# and generated test design documents, test plans, and test cases based on product specifications.
In 2006, John joined UIEvolution as a QA/SW Tester, where they designed, created, and debugged test cases for development tools and mobile applications. John developed tools and manual/automated test cases for verifying product functionality on IDE and mobile devices, as well as designed 'real world' customer scenarios for testing.
John transitioned to the role of a Software Design Engineer in Test at UIEvolution in 2007, where they created the test framework and automated test cases for development tools such as Eclipse's RCP, mobile and web applications like Tapestry. John also implemented, documented, and maintained test automation and software tools used for source code analysis. Additionally, they performed reviews and quality audits of source code, architectural, and design specifications.
In 2009, John joined WhitePages as a QA Engineer before moving to DoubleDown Interactive in 2014. At DoubleDown Interactive, they worked as a QA and was responsible for ensuring product quality by conducting quality assurance testing.
John Siu attended Western Washington University from 2000 to 2003 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
