Michael Pasternak is the Director of Engineering at Mend.io, leading the development of the Mend AppSec platform and the Renovate project since April 2023. Previously, Michael founded a stealth initiative focusing on Computer Vision and Augmented Reality from October 2022 to April 2023. From June 2019 to October 2022, Michael served as Director of Engineering at Mimecast, managing the Cloud Security Engineering department and successfully delivering key cyber defense products. Prior experience includes roles as R&D Manager at Credorax, leading the development of a payment gateway platform, and R&D Team Leader positions at Kenshoo and Red Hat, focusing on scalable data platforms and virtualization solutions, respectively. Michael holds an Engineer's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Ariel University.
