Jane Panetta has extensive experience in curatorial roles, currently serving as the Curator and Director of the Collection at the Whitney Museum of American Art since July 2010. Jane's career at the Whitney includes positions as Associate Curator, Assistant Curator, and Curatorial Researcher. Prior to this role, Jane worked as a Curatorial Assistant in Painting & Sculpture at The Museum of Modern Art from January 2005 to December 2009. Jane holds a Master’s Degree in Art History from Hunter College and a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Haverford College, complemented by education at The Graduate Center, City University of New York from 2010 to 2013.
