Will Neer

Will Neer is an experienced museum professional currently serving as Assistant Registrar for Exhibitions and Coordinator in the Registration Department at the Whitney Museum of American Art since December 2022. Prior to this role, Will held the position of Research Assistant at the Merrill C. Berman Collection and worked as a Research Associate for both the Saul Steinberg Foundation and the Leon Polk Smith Foundation from August 2020 to December 2022. Will's extensive background in curatorial support includes serving as Curatorial Assistant for Exhibitions and for East Asian Art at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts from August 2016 to August 2020. Will's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Museum Studies from New York University and Bachelor's degrees in Art History and History from Virginia Commonwealth University.
