Tim Armstrong

Tim Armstrong is the Co-Founder and Chairman at WhoCo. Prior to WhoCo, Tim served as the VP of Operations & Strategy at Verizon Media from July 2017 to February 2019. In this role, Tim oversaw business operations, strategy, and business development functions for a $2B annual revenue advertising technology business. From July 2015 to September 2017, Tim served as the VP Finance and CFO Aol Platforms at AOL. In this role, Tim led the merger of Yahoo! and Aol's advertising technology businesses. Tim delivered significant revenue growth despite integration and over $100M in cost savings. Prior to AOL, Tim served as the COO, Head of Finance, Operations & Strategy at Gravity from May 2009 to December 2016. At Gravity, Tim created content personalization and recommendation engine and built native advertising network. Gravity was acquired by AOL in January 2014. Prior to Gravity, Tim worked as an Associate in Investment Banking at Pagemill Partners from October 2004 to July 2008.
