Ching Chiao

Ching Chiao is a seasoned professional in the domain name industry with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Head of APAC & Global Partnership and Senior Advisor at WhoisXML API, Ching has also been appointed a member of the Second IANA Naming Function Review Team at ICANN. Ching leads the New gTLD research project at TWNIC and holds a supervisory position on the Board of the Taiwan Internet Association. As the founder and chairman of Brandma Internet Group, Ching established the first corporate domain registrar in China. Previous roles include Co-Chair of the CCWG New gTLD Auction Proceeds at ICANN and chair of the Asia Pacific Networking Group. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Management Information Systems from Binghamton University and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Statistics from Tamkang University.
