Tim Sheng

Tim Sheng's work experience begins in 2008 with an internship as a Software Engineering Intern at Google. The following year, they returned to Google for another internship in the same role. In 2011, Sheng worked as a PostDoc at UCSD, where they switched their research focus from compilers to Big Data Analysis. Tim worked on a project involving all aspects of an information retrieval system. In 2013, Sheng co-founded Whova, a company that provides event management solutions and an event app for attendees. No end dates are provided for their current role at Whova.

Tim Sheng completed their B.A in Software Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology from 2000 to 2004. Tim then pursued their Ph.D in Computer Science at Tsinghua University from 2004 to 2010.
