Steve Evans

Steve Evans is a seasoned IT executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Group IT Director at WHSmith since January 2019, Steve has previously held multiple senior positions at Debenhams, including Director of Service & Solution Delivery and Director of Delivery. Steve’s career also includes significant contributions at WHSmith in program management, leading the Contactless Payments Programme, and at Budweiser as the European IS Manager overseeing a $12 million budget and a team of 30. Additionally, Steve has a strong project management background demonstrated through roles at Budweiser and Specialist Data Solutions. Steve earned a BA in Business Information Technology from the University of Gloucestershire from 1993 to 1997.
