Why Not Her? is a data-led consultancy advancing gender equity and addressing racial disparity across the music, media and cultural sectors.

Through rigorous research, advocacy and strategic advisory work, Why Not Her? drives measurable structural change. Its Gender Equality and Racial Disparity Reports have informed national media debate, policy development and industry practice across music and broadcasting.

Why Not Her? works with organisations, collectives, companies and leadership teams who are serious about improving representation, accountability and workplace culture. The approach is evidence-based, practical and outcome-driven, focusing on systems, leadership behaviours and sustainable change rather than surface-level diversity initiatives.

Alongside strategic consultancy, Why Not Her? provides HR-led organisational support to ensure equity principles translate into real workplace practice. This includes policy review and development, inclusive hiring frameworks, grievance and reporting structures, leadership coaching, emotional intelligence training and culture transformation programmes.

Services include:

• Data analysis and equity audits
• Strategy development and governance guidance
• HR policy design and implementation support
• Leadership training and inclusive culture workshops
• Campaign design and stakeholder engagement

Diversity and inclusion are not abstract values. When embedded properly, they drive innovation, productivity, wellbeing and long-term organisational resilience.

For organisations ready to move beyond intention and into measurable action, Why Not Her? provides the research, strategy and HR infrastructure to make it happen.
