Danielle Tellez

Project Manager at WHY

Danielle Tellez has a diverse range of work experience in the field of architecture. Danielle currently works as a Designer 3 at WHY Architecture, starting in October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at SHoP Architects from 2017 to 2022, initially as a Designer and later as an Associate. During their time at SHoP Architects, they were involved in multiple projects, including leading the design of a 678,000 SF office tower in Sydney, AU, the development and documentation of a 422,000 SF mixed-use residential complex in LA, CA, and the design of a 118,000 SF consulate in Milan, IT.

Before joining SHoP Architects, Danielle worked as a Freelancer at UAP Company from September 2016 to March 2017. Prior to that, they held a Designer role at M1/DTW from May 2015 to August 2016. Danielle also gained experience as a Design Assistant at Taubman College of Architecture + Urban Planning, University of Michigan in 2014 and as an Intern at Johnston Marklee & Assoc and AECOM in 2014 and 2013 respectively.

Danielle Tellez completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2013. Danielle then pursued further education and obtained their Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) degree in Architecture from the University of Michigan from 2013 to 2015.
