Mark Thompson

Mark Thompson has had a long and successful career in the technology industry. Mark began their career in 1990 as a US Marine, and then in 1996 they became the Manager of Technical Services for PPG Industries. In 1998 they became an Independent Consultant for iContact.com, and in 1999 they became the CTO/CIO for INGDirect. From 2005 to 2012 they were the CTO for Quest Software and Redlasso, and in 2012 they became the CTO for TrafficCast International, Inc. From 2013 to 2016 they were the COO and Co-Founder of Media Analytics/IMS Report, and in 2016 they became the CEO of WhyFly where they designed, built and managed a fixed wireless network that generated over 2000 customers and $1.5 million in annual recurring revenue in 24 months with a 50% year over year growth rate. Mark also earned a 20% market penetration rate in the coverage area.

Mark Thompson attended San Diego State University from 1993 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics - Quantitative Analysis. Mark also attended University of Maryland - Iwakuni Japan from 1993 to 1994, where they studied US History, Economics, and History. Prior to that, they attended the University of Delaware from 1989 to 1990, where they studied Economics and Business.
