James Kempf

James Kempf is currently the Chief Technology Officer at WhyGrene Inc. where James is responsible for developing Whygrene's V2 Virtual Powerplant architecture. James also works as a Subject Editor for the Security and Privacy in the IET Smart Cities open access journal and as a Senior Consultant at their own company, Kempf and Associates. James is also a Teaching Staff at UCSC Silicon Valley Extension, a Member of Element 8 Angels, and has previous experience as a Senior Principal Architect at Equinix and Principal Researcher at Ericsson. James holds a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Arizona.
