Stephan Oost has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Stephan started their career as a Senior Event Coordinator at adidas in 1997. Stephan then became the CEO of CIP Marketing, an adidas-owned event company, from 2000 to 2006. After that, they worked as the Manager of the Referee Department at KNVB, where they successfully reorganized the department and achieved significant efficiency improvements.
In 2010, Stephan joined BCD Meetings & Events as a Regional Account Manager, responsible for client relationship management and the introduction of a successful Strategic Meetings Management Programme. Stephan later became a Global Account Director, overseeing the strategic meeting management program for Philips and managing a dedicated team across five regions. At the same time, they also handled the PSV account, focusing on sports travel.
In 2016, Stephan served as a Member of the Council (Gemeenteraadslid) at Gemeente Utrecht, representing the community as part of the elected supervisory board. Stephan then joined NLinBusiness in 2019 as the Private Sector Lead, where they spearheaded the organization of various events connecting the public and private sectors.
In 2019, Stephan started working as a Senior Lecturer at EuroCollege Hogeschool, specializing in International Business and Business Development. Stephan also took on the role of Business Strategy Specialist at Wens Business Events, where they developed and executed a new business strategy in response to the impact of Covid-19.
More recently, Stephan co-founded Wice, a startup focused on connecting suppliers and buyers in the MICE (Meetings, Incentive, Conferences, and Events) market. As the CEO and co-founder, Stephan is responsible for translating technical concepts into commercial realities and guiding the launch of the product to market.
Stephan Oost completed their Master's degree in Fiscal Economics at Tilburg University from 1994 to 1998. Following that, they pursued another Master's degree in Marketing/Marketing Management, General at Fontys University of Applied Sciences from 1998 to 2000.
