James MacKrell

James Mackrell is an accomplished retail leader with extensive experience at Wickes, where current responsibilities include serving as Head of Business Strategy and Transformational Change since August 2014, overseeing the execution of a technology transformation strategy and new sales channels. Previously, James held roles such as Head of Sales for Kitchens and Bathrooms, Regional Manager, and Head of Retail Operations. Prior to Wickes, James was the Commercial Supply Programme Manager at Wickes Building Supplies and held various management positions at Waitrose. Academic credentials include a 2:1 degree in Geography from the University of Portsmouth. James has also received recognition as Wickes Store Manager of the Year in 2009 and Travis Perkins Retail Manager of the Year in 2010.
