Simon Hickling

Simon Hickling is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in responsible sourcing and quality management. Currently serving as the Head of Responsible Sourcing & Quality at Wickes since March 2019, Simon has previously held roles as Senior Responsible Sourcing & Quality Manager and Technical Manager within the same organization. Prior to Wickes, Simon worked at Travis Perkins plc from August 2015 to March 2021, where responsibilities included being the Divisional Quality Manager and Category Technical Manager. Earlier experience at Wickes from December 2013 to August 2015 encompassed roles as Category Manager for Paint and Woodcare and Project Manager. Beginning a career with Focus DIY from June 1994 to 2008, Simon managed various stores in the North West, Staffordshire, and Cheshire. Education includes attendance at Stanfields High Stoke on Trent from 1984 to 1986.
