Katy Hall has an extensive work experience starting in 2006 with the role of Associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, where they conducted internal investigations and successfully represented a pro bono client accused of murder. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as an Associate at Satterlee Stephens Burke & Burke LLP, primarily focusing on corporate law. Katy then joined Andrews Kurth LLP as an Associate, representing corporate clients in litigation claims. In 2013, they founded their own law practice, Atlas Law PLLC, specializing in corporate litigation with a focus on media and technology. During their time at Atlas Law, they led the litigation team in a groundbreaking victory against click fraud. In 2017, Katy joined Wickfire as the Chief Strategy Officer & General Counsel, where they developed new partnerships and oversaw corporate marketing and technology development. Katy later took on the role of Chief Operating Officer, leading Wickfire's business development, operations, content, and finance teams and successfully launching the BuyersGuide.org site.

Katy Hall attended Princeton University from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in English and Finance. Katy then enrolled at the New York University School of Law from 2003 to 2006, graduating cum laude with a Juris Doctor degree. Prior to their college education, Katy graduated cum laude from Choate Rosemary Hall in 1999. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including HTML5 and CSS Fundamentals from W3 in September 2018, Data Science: R Basics from HarvardX in June 2018, SQL for Data Science from the University of California, Davis in March 2018, and Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python from MITx on edX in October 2015. It is worth noting that they have also completed a JavaScript Introduction course on edX, but the dates for this certification are not provided.
