Robert Statica, Ph.D., has extensive work experience in the fields of cybersecurity, technology, and aerospace. Robert is currently serving as the Chairman of Hyperian Aerospace, a position they have held since 2023.

Katim is a trusted partner of the UAE Government in cyber defense technologies.

From 2009 to 2012, Statica served as the CEO and President of SIG Homeland Security, where they managed business development, government relations, and operations in the homeland security and aerospace sector.

In 2007, Statica co-founded United Alert and served as the CEO. United Alert was the first unified emergency alert and secure group communication service, providing SMS, email, and web-delivered emergency alerts via a secure platform.

Statica's work experience also includes serving as the Chief Technology Officer of Linsafe, Inc. from 2003 to 2007. Robert led the innovation and development of the company's intelligent Intrusion Prevention System.

Early in their career, Statica worked as a Senior Aerospace and Propulsion Project Engineer for the F-22 Raptor Propulsion System.

In terms of post-doctoral studies, Robert engaged in non-degree free post-doc studies in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering at the MIT School of Engineering. Robert completed this program from 2016 to 2021.

To complement their education, Robert obtained further certifications. Robert holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Homeland Security (GAGSHS) from Northcentral University, which they received in January 2009.
