Cheryl Cohen is an experienced professional specializing in online sales and multimedia design. Currently serving as an Online Sales Specialist at Women In Distress of Broward County, Inc. since September 2022, Cheryl also operates as a self-employed business owner since January 2017. Previously, Cheryl worked at Sun Sentinel from December 1991 to February 2016 as a Creative Services Multimedia & Print Designer, where responsibilities included creating interactive multimedia ads and collateral for digital advertising and marketing campaigns. Women In Distress is the only nationally accredited, state-certified, full service domestic violence center serving Broward County, Florida. Our mission is to stop domestic violence abuse for everyone through intervention, education and advocacy.We strive to accomplish this mission through a 24-hour crisis line, emergency shelter program, individual counseling, support groups and professional trainings which are aimed at educating the community on domestic violence. Our confidential services are offered free of charge to victims of domestic violence no matter their age, gender, race or socio-economic status.
