As a professor and Director of Cornell's Wide Bandgap Laboratory, Dr. Spencer investigates novel semiconductor materials growth and device applications in silicon carbide, gallium nitride and graphene. Dr. Spencer received a BS, an MS, and a PhD from Cornell University and has more than 100 peer-reviewed publications. He is the former Associated Dean of Research for Cornell's College of Engineering and is a recipient of the Presidential Young Investigator Award.
