Matt Payne

Matt Payne is the founder and chief architect of Width.ai, a company focused on SOTA natural language processing and computer vision. Matt bootstrapped Width.ai to 7 figures. Prior to this, they worked as an associate software engineer at Capital One from December 2019 to August 2021. Matt also worked as a software engineer at Cougaar Software, Inc. from June 2019 to December 2019. Before that, they interned at FarmRaiser, Inc. where they helped improve SEO, updated landing pages, and acted as a project manager for long-term projects. Matt has experience in web design and marketing, having served as the CEO of MP Web Design & Marketing from January 2017 to July 2018.

Matt Payne has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Christopher Newport University. Matt also obtained a certification in Fundamentals of Azure Ai Document Intelligence from Microsoft in November 2023.
