Sam Smoot

Currently developing APIs, data migration tools, and architecture of a future Newsroom product, Sam Smoot has led the specification and architecture of current Wieck products, including Newsroom, NYTSYN, TimesDigest, and VirtualTours. Managing the development, Sam put into place project management procedures and QA. Designing, implementing, and doing hotfixes for current hosting infrastructure, he acts as an adviser for hosting requirements and vendors for new infrastructure. Passionate about fixing things, Sam wants to continue identifying and finding solutions for issues that arise. Whether lowering project maintenance to clear time for new development or improving processes to ensure promises are delivered on time, Sam is always seeking answers to new questions.
