Ted S. has a diverse range of work experience in the legal field. Ted began their career as a Law Intern at the International Law Students Association in 1989. Ted then served as a Law Clerk at the Pennsylvania Office of General Counsel from 1988 to 1989. Ted later worked as a Legal Intern at International Dispute Resolution, Ltd in 1990. In 1994, they became a Legal Counsel at 21st Century Fish Productions, Inc for a brief period of time. Ted then became an Independent Legal Consultant at the Legal Reform Project from December 1994 to November 1995.

Ted's most prominent role was as the Senior Vice-President, General Counsel & Deputy Managing Director at the Motion Picture Association from April 1996 to December 2012. During their time there, they oversaw the provision of legal services and advice in relation to intellectual property and new media, including copyright, digital rights management, internet enforcement, and various other legal matters.

Currently, Ted is a Partner and Head of Brussels Office at Wiggin since January 2013. Ted is actively involved in advising clients in the audiovisual, video games, music, and publishing sectors on a wide range of legal matters, including compliance, enforcement, competition law, copyright issues, Brexit, and licensing.

Overall, Ted S. has extensive experience in the legal field, particularly in intellectual property, media, and entertainment law.

Ted S. completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History and French from Connecticut College, where they attended from 1982 to 1986. Following this, they pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D) degree at Penn State Dickinson Law School, from 1987 to 1990. During their time at law school, they also participated in a Summer Program in Florence, Italy, focusing on International Law and the Arts, as well as Comparative Law. In 1990, Ted S. furthered their education at the University of Amsterdam, earning a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree in European Community Law, which they completed in 1991.
