Kevin Marks, P.E. has over 20 years of work experience in the engineering field. Currently, they serve as the Director of Engineering at Wightman, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as a Project Manager at Wightman from July 2016 to June 2021.

Before joining Wightman, Kevin worked as the Director of Alumni Services and Housing at Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity from April 2010 to June 2015. In this role, they were responsible for managing and recruiting alumni volunteers for numerous associations and housing corporations. Additionally, they led a working group that developed an undergraduate mentoring program for local chapters nationwide.

From November 2003 to April 2010, Kevin worked as a Project Manager at V3 Companies, focusing on municipal engineering in the greater Chicagoland area. Kevin specialized in water distribution and wastewater collection planning and design, as well as the rehabilitation of existing infrastructure. During this time, they also conducted plan reviews for several communities, including the City of Chicago Department of Construction and Permits.

Prior to their role at V3 Companies, Kevin was a Project Manager and Chief Estimator at Reynolds Inliner from August 2002 to November 2003. In this position, they prepared bids and supervised installation crews for sewer rehabilitation projects across a 16-state territory. Kevin utilized various methods, including Inliner CIPP, open cut replacement, trenchless manhole rehab, and other trenchless repair applications.

Kevin began their engineering career as a Project Engineer at Clark Dietz, Inc., where they worked from February 1998 to August 2002. Kevin also gained experience as a Design Engineer at Northwest Indiana Water Company from 1997 to 1998 and as a Civil Engineer at Wight & Company from 1996 to 1997.

Kevin Marks, P.E. earned their Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (B.S.C.E.) from Valparaiso University, where they enrolled in 1991 and completed their degree in 1996. In 2001, they obtained their first certification as a Professional Engineer from the State of Indiana. Later, in 2017, they acquired additional certifications, including being a Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan and obtaining the PACP, MACP, and LACP certifications from the National Association of Sewer Service Companies.
