Rien Timmer

Rien Timmer currently serves as Directeur at Dienst Justitiële Inrichtingen since February 2023 and holds a position as Lid Raad van Toezicht at WIJdezorg since May 2022. With a long-standing role at PGGM as Externe derde in the Klokkenluidersregeling since September 2005, Rien Timmer is also chairman of Christen Unie Leiden e.o. since November 2018, and actively engages in various volunteer roles within the community. Previously, Rien Timmer was Voorzitter of the College van Bestuur at Leo Kanner Onderwijsgroep until February 2023 and held multiple significant positions in education and advisory organizations. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and executive education from renowned institutions such as Harvard Kennedy School and TIAS School for Business and Society.
