Raul Garcia

Raul Garcia has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Raul started their career as a Quality Manager Assistant at Forplast (Astral Group) in 1999 and then worked as a Planner at JG. Group from 2000 to 2002. Raul later worked as an R&D Engineer at Brooks Todo in 2003 and as a Project Manager at Plastal (previously Dynamit Nobel) from 2004 to 2006. In 2007, they joined MAT Global Solutions S.L. as a Project Manager. From 2009 to 2012, they served as a Quality Manager for High-end products at Hehui, a Chinese helmets and safety garments company. From 2012 to 2017, Raul worked at WIK Group in various roles, including IQC Sr. Manager, Quality and Food Safety Manager, and Engineering and Quality Manager. Raul then joined Sem Matic in 2017 as the COO, where they focused on defining KPIs, implementing new systems, and fostering a data-analysis oriented mindset. In 2020, they returned to WIK Group as the Head of Global Lean Management Factory Operations.

Raul Garcia's education history begins in 1996 when they pursued an engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering in Plastics at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Raul successfully completed their degree in 2000.

In 2019, Raul continued their education by enrolling in OBS Business School, where they obtained a Master degree in Production Management and Processes Improvement. This program focused on Industrial Production Technologies/Technicians. Their studies at OBS Business School lasted until 2020.

During the same year, Raul also completed a Lean Manufacturing Technical Course at Universidad San Jorge, further expanding their knowledge in Lean Manufacturing. Raul also obtained a Bronze Certificate in Operations Management and Supervision from QRM Institute Spain.

In 2021, Raul pursued a Master's degree in Industry 4.0 and Processes Automation at Three Points The School for Digital Business. Raul completed this program in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Raul obtained various certifications to enhance their skill set. In October 2020, they obtained a Lean Manufacturing certification from Universidad San Jorge. In March 2020, they received a Lean Manufacturing certification from Instituto Lean Management. Raul also holds a QRM Bronze Certification from QRM Institute Spain, which they obtained in February 2020. It is worth noting that they also pursued a LEAN Management Certification from Expert Rating, and a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Aveta Business Institute's Six Sigma Online, although the specific details of when and where they obtained these certifications are not provided.
