Gregory Varnum

Gregory Varnum is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in communications and nonprofit management. Currently serving as a Senior Strategist in the Communications Department at the Wikimedia Foundation since September 2015, Gregory has previously held significant roles including Organization Lead at the Aequalitas Project, Director of External Relations at Equality Michigan, and Executive Director of the National Youth Advocacy Coalition. With a background that includes founding VarnEnt and managing various initiatives for LGBTQIA advocacy, Gregory possesses a strong foundation in public administration and political science, holding a Master's degree in Public Administration with a focus on Non-Profit Management and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Eastern Michigan University.
