Joydeep Sengupta

Joydeep Sengupta is a seasoned user experience design professional with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as a Principal User Experience Designer at the Wikimedia Foundation since January 2023, Joydeep previously held key roles at Zalando SE, leading design efforts in delivery and category management while mentoring other designers. At Honeywell, Joydeep was the Design Experience Lead, managing a design team and overseeing complex interaction design projects. Additional experience includes positions at HERE Technologies, Nokia, Mambu, Tech Mahindra, and Wipro Technologies, where Joydeep contributed significantly to user experience design through research, team leadership, and product development. Joydeep holds a Master of Science in Human Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
