Wikimedia Rwanda is a nonprofit organization (legally registered as OPEN SOURCE KNOWLEDGE RWANDA) dedicated to fostering free and open access to knowledge in Rwanda. We promote digital literacy, cultural heritage preservation, and global knowledge sharing through Wikimedia projects, including Wikipedia in Kinyarwanda and other languages.

Our initiatives focus on empowering individuals—especially students and educators—with 21st-century skills like critical thinking, research, and digital communication. By building collaborative platforms like Wiki Clubs and hosting training sessions, we enable Rwandans to contribute to and benefit from the world’s largest free knowledge ecosystem.

Join us in shaping a digitally inclusive and knowledge-driven Rwanda!
