Tomás Achaval

Tomás Achaval is the current CEO at Wilab. Prior to this, they were with Open Science Network osn.global from April 2018 to October 2018, where they held the position of Business dev and Advisor. Before that, they were with AWM Ingenieria from May 2016 to May 2018, where they were Co-Founder & CEO.

At Open Science Network, Tomás was responsible for blockchain project that aimed to increase the output of scientific research. Tomás did this by re-aligning incentives for researchers so that they could collaborate in open science projects and get money & career advancement opportunities.

At AWM Ingenieria, Tomás and their team founded a company, developed a product, designed and implemented production in China and were selling in Argentina, Chile and the United States. Among other achievements, they reached the finals of NAVES and sold to some of the most renowned wineries in Argentina. Now, AWM continues to sell the remontadores but has made a spin-off to Singularity Cloud, an IoT Industrial/Industry 4.0 company.

Tomás Achaval has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Alchemist Accelerator and a degree in Project Management from kinetic. Tomás also has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidad Catolica de Cordoba Jesuit University.
