Wild Hudson Valley was founded on the premise that sustainability can only be achieved when a society acknowledges the inseparability of humanity with the earth. Our society has become ecologically illiterate - we have lost a deep understanding of the processes and connections that bind all life together and with the physical universe.

A return to that understanding and connection - and the subsequent empathy, fascination and fulfillment that comes with regaining one's relationship with the environment - positively impacts both the life of the individual and, ultimately, of humanity and of the planet as a whole.

Wild Hudson Valley strives to bring that curiosity and understanding back to humanity, and does so through guided nature walks, canoe tours, and wildcrafting workshops. Come with me to learn, share personal experiences, and understand the natural world in the forests, mountains, meadows and wetlands of the magnificent Hudson River.
