At Wild Root, we believe plant-based food should start with plants.

What began as a plant-based cafe in rural Lancashire, has grown into a food brand built around one simple idea: clean, homemade food made from real ingredients. Not ultra-processed substitutes.

In our cafes, we serve vibrant, nourishing brunches and lunches, packed full of plants and cooked from scratch every day. Alongside this, we create a range of cultured and fermented products, from our Cultured Cashew Ch**ses to our fermented Krauts and Pickles, designed to bring gut-friendly, flavour-packed food into everyday eating.

Our mission is to make it easier for people to choose food that supports their health without compromising on taste, convenience or joy.

In 2026, Wild Root products will begin appearing on supermarket shelves, making truly plant-based food accessible to far more households. This next chapter allows us to challenge the norm of ultra-processed “plant-based” alternatives and offer something better: real food, made properly.
