Wild Wetzikon AG was founded in 1969 and has since specialised in flat and profile grinding as well as in the manufacture of barquettes for the watch industry.

Our portfolio includes the following fields:

Barquettes

Since 2011, our company has been manufacturing barquettes from various materials and in various sizes.
We can produce all external dimensions and thicknesses to the desired final dimensions.
Our manufacturing process does not involve punching. All stages of the manufacturing process are designed to be as gentle as possible so that no stresses are created in the material that could lead to deformation during subsequent machining processes.

Materials:

-CuZn42
-CuZn39Pb2.0
-CuZn37
-CuZn5,
-Titane grade 5
-Nickel silver
-AP1C

As well as others, which you are welcome to view on our website

Surface and profile grinding

Grinding is used for the fine and finish machining of workpieces. On our high-quality Mägerle machines, the workpieces can be clamped using a magnetic clamping plate, a vacuum table or mechanical clamping systems as well as zero-point clamping systems such as Erowa.

-Workpiece length up to max. 1000mm
-Workpiece width up to max. 500mm
-Workpiece height up to max. 450mm

Double surface grinding

Double face grinding is used to machine components that place high demands on flatness and thickness tolerance.
As the workpieces are held in the rotor discs without tension, almost any solid material can be machined. The range of applications is very broad, for example bearing rings, sealing discs, spacer rings, sheets, barquettes and plates are ground reliably and precisely and meet the highest quality standards.

-Workpiece diameter up to max. 290 mm
-Workpiece height up to max. 100mm
