Lara Chang

Lara Chang is an accomplished designer and character artist with extensive experience in the animation industry. Currently employed at WildBrain since February 2023 as a Designer and Character and Prop Builds Artist, Lara has contributed to various projects including Camp Snoopy, The Snoopy Show, and Strawberry Shortcake: Berry in the Big City. Prior experience includes roles at Titmouse as a Flash Builds and Rigging Artist, and at DHX Media as a Character Clean-up and Colour Artist, showcasing skills in character design, clean-up, and prop construction. Additionally, Lara served in retail positions at Roots Canada, and has a background in education as an Assistant Instructor at Art Point Academy. A graduate of Emily Carr University of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Media Arts in Animation, Lara also created a 2D animated graduation thesis film titled "Iridescence," demonstrating strong abilities in concept development and storytelling.
