Technical Sales Consultant at Wildlife Computers

Kevin Lay has been working in the field of wildlife telemetry since 1977. Kevin began their career as a Radio and Electronics Technician with Hastings, where they serviced SSB, VHF and UHF radiotelephones, depth sounders, radar, automatic pilots and dictation machines. In 1986, they co-founded Sirtrack Ltd. with Dave Ward as part of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR). Sirtrack initially provided tags for seven species in New Zealand and grew to 45 staff and millions in sales. In 2012, they began working as a Technical Sales Consultant for Wildlife Computers Inc., providing technical sales advice to researchers and managers on tags to track and better understand their study species. Kevin works from their home office in New Zealand, enhancing Wildlife Computers global coverage.

Kevin Lay attended Havelock North Primary School from 1965 to 1974 and Karamu High School from 1975 to 1979.
