Rowan Calder

Business Development Manager at Wildlife Computers

Rowan Calder has worked in a variety of roles since 1993. Rowan began their career as a Ranger/Guide at Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve in 1993. In 1997, they moved to Wilderness Safaris, where they held the roles of Marketing Manager, Professional Guide, and Lodge Manager. Rowan was also responsible for "very cool stuff like cruising around in some of the most remote parts of Africa and interpretting and imparting their knowledge of the bush and wildlife on guests". From 2003 to 2011, they worked at Sirtrack Ltd. as a Product Manager. Rowan then moved to Silver Fern Farms Ltd. in 2011, where they held the role of Livestock Farming Programme Manager. In 2014, they joined Wildlife Computers as a Business Development Manager.

Rowan Calder attended Sandringham High School from 1984 to 1988, where they achieved a Matric University Excemption. Rowan then attended the University of KwaZulu-Natal from 1989 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Agricultural Science with a focus on Grassland Science.
