Real conservation happens on the ground, in communities, and in advocacy. We work in all three.

Founded in 1962, Wildlife Queensland (Wildlife Preservation Society of Queensland) is Queensland's longest-running conservation organisation with one mission:

Protecting wildlife, influencing choices, and engaging communities. 🐨

Grounded in science and driven by action, our work includes threatened species monitoring, habitat restoration, on-ground conservation programs, community engagement, and environmental advocacy.

As a not-for-profit organisation, we are powered by thousands of supporters - members, volunteers, donors, citizen scientists, and branches across the state working together to protect wildlife and wild places.
