Robin Isaacson

Robin Isaacson has a strong background in scientific research and laboratory management. They worked at Wildtype as a Senior Scientist starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Emory University School of Medicine as a Staff Scientist/Lab Manager in the Department of Cell Biology from 2017 to 2023, where they conducted research in neuropharmacology and managed day-to-day lab operations. From 2013 to 2017, Robin was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Emory University, conducting research in ophthalmology, collecting and analyzing biological data, and summarizing findings into reports. They started their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Louisville from 2008 to 2013, where they conducted basic research in pharmacology and toxicology, worked on alcoholic liver and lung disease research, and collaborated with multiple teams.

Robin Isaacson earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Funeral Service Administration from St. John's University in the years 2002-2006. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of Louisville between 2008 and 2011. Their education journey continued at the University of Louisville, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology from 2011 to 2013.
