Lori Scheetz

Lori Scheetz is a legal professional with extensive experience in advising clients on export controls and economic sanctions at Wiley Rein LLP, where roles encompass Partner, Of Counsel, and Attorney since September 2007. In this capacity, Lori provides guidance on compliance with regulations administered by the Bureau of Industry and Security, the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), as well as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant for Professor Edith Brown Weiss at Georgetown University Law Center, where research focused on international environmental law issues. Lori holds a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center (2004-2007) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Dickinson College (2000-2004).
