Alice Wood

Alice Wood currently serves as the Director of Open Research for APAC & China at Wiley, a position held since June 2011, where responsibilities include managing the growth of the Open Access business and responding to external policies affecting the sector. Previously, Alice held various roles at Wiley, from Senior Publishing Development Editor to Publishing Assistant, and contributed significantly to journal management and development across multiple disciplines. Alice also represented Wiley as a Committee Member for the Oxford Publishing Society, co-organizing events and discussions on scholarly publishing. Educational background includes a BA in Modern Languages and European Studies from the University of Bath and a Certificate in Journals Publishing from Oxford Brookes University. Additionally, experience includes teaching English at Kheiron School of English and Université de Provence.
