Amanda Pyne

Amanda Pyne is an Editorial Assistant at Wiley since July 2023, with previous experience as an Editorial Intern at Farrar, Straus and Giroux and a Bookseller at The Book House earlier in 2023. In the summer of 2022, Amanda served as a Critical Language Scholar in Arabic for the U.S. Department of State. Amanda's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Kenyon College, where various roles such as Arabic Tutor, Archives and Special Collections Student Manager, and Writing Center Consultant were undertaken. Additionally, Amanda held editorial positions at The Kenyon Collegian, including Managing Editor, and worked as an Editorial Associate at The Kenyon Review. Furthering education, Amanda completed the Columbia Publishing Course at Columbia University and obtained a certificate in Modern Standard Arabic from the Arab American Language Institute in Morocco.
